Delivery Policy

For deliveries within New Zealand we use Signature-Required Courier Post Satchels for delivery within 1 to 2 days. These range in price from $6.30 for the smallest to $12.50 for the largest.

Smaller items are mailed in NZ Post envelopes, if possible. With bulkier items, we will try to use Signature Required Courier Post Tickets or, on some occasions, Parcel Post (NZ Post). The ticket prices range from $5.50 to $18.70.

Parcel Post is usually the more economical option but delivery will take longer (3 to 5 working days). If you prefer to have your items send by Parcel Post, please advise us in the Special Instructions on your web order.

For overseas deliveries we now use NZ Post's e-Ship Service which delivers each parcel to the parcel postage service of your own country and is tracked. The postage we charge is based upon the weight of the parcel and your delivery zone. Most shipments for Fabric Clubs or Block of the Month projects weigh between 200 g and 500 g. The postage on such parcels will range from NZ$12.50 to NZ$20.00 for Australia while for other parts of the world the range is from NZ$20.00 to over NZ$50.00, depending upon weight & size. Their insurance coverage for parcels over $250.00 in value costs an extra $10.00. Each metre of fabric weighs about 180g and there may be additional items such as a pattern or kitset instructions.....
