Buttonwood Farm by Maggie Bonanomi (Book)

The inspiration for most of the projects in this book belong in the past and are made using velvet, wool and cotton. The quilt on the front cover is stunning. We will be stocking a lot of wool fabrics soon. If we can ever prevent Ngaire Brooks and Gayle from buying them all for their stash, will be able to make the hand appliqued pin keeps, quilts and cushions. You might even like to try the primitive floor rug made from rags which was inspired by a rug found in a stone farmhouse belonging to a distant relative of the author.
