Gone to Texas by Betsy Chutchian (Book) DISCONTINUED

Like so many of their generation Lizzie and Robert carpenter headed west for a better life. They ended up in North Central texas. The great thing about this book is that Lizzie kept a journal and it's here for you to read! Her great great granddaughter discovered the journal and has recreated the quilts Lizzie made (or at least 12 of them). I am sure you will enjoy reading about Lizzie's life and times just as I did.
