No piecing here! You cut the small squares and appliqué them onto the larger squares using a raw edge appliqué technique. The squares are then joined together with a raw seam which then fluffs up a bit when washed — a bit like chenille. The designer suggests a pinking blade which will give you a wider zig zag. 20 Pages.
