The author is French and the quilts in this book are quite gorgeous — lots of story type quilts and small quilts with children appliquéd on. Although I adore these designs the thing I like most is the use of fabric the designer/author has chosen. There are ducks, chickens, bugs, sheep etc and many of these have been appliquéd using a mixture of tiny florals and plaids giving the finished pieces an antique look. She uses taupes and soft colours. I want this book on my coffee table. There is so much inspiration. 240 Pages.
