Sisterhood - A Quilting Tradition by Nancy Lee Murty (Book) DISCONTINUED

I just love every single one of the eleven quilts in this book. This might have to be my copy! The author's friends and family have contributed so that you will have a better idea about how the quilts will look in alternative colours. The majority of them are applique quilts with the addition of piecing. I think that my favourite is the quilt with pieced stars. Each alternate block has an applique block with branches and leaves forming a lattice across the quilt. The quilt is shown with both a light and a dark background which is very dramatic. A very nice book.
