Caswell Quilt Starter Kitset

The quilt you see here was made by hand by Ngaire Brooks. It took less than a year. She changed the pattern a bit and made the background of the blocks bigger, and the borders wider. You will get enough fabric to do the same and we will include instructions for that size alteration with the parcel. This is an heirloom! I did 12 blocks by machine and I am happy with it so you don’t have to do it all by hand.

The starter kitset is available in three different options. The metre packs have eight fabrics per pack. This will give you a place to start. We have used slightly stronger colours than the designer and the blocks shown above the quilt will give you an idea of what the metre packs will have in them. The designer used two background fabrics but we have used just one.

Option 1: Pattern and four one metre packs, NZ$226.00.
