Crazy Velvet Cake Quilt

I made this quilt from a beautiful Layer Cake from Moda. It has a red velvet border inspired by a crazy patch quilt from the 1800’s I bought in an antique shop. You could easily embellish this quilt with embroidery. The piecing technique I have developed for this quilt is easy and I made the top in two days. It was a lot of fun and totally foolproof. My step-by-step instructions will be included with the kitset.
