The Farmer's Wife Starter Kitset

This quilt shown was made by Ngaire Brooks and because we have received some stunning reproduction fabrics we have decided to offer this project as a starter kit. There are far too many fabrics to supply the whole lot as you may have fabrics of your own to pop in. The starter kit includes 4 one metre packs of fat eighths. This adds up to 32 different fabrics which you could make the quilt with, but the beauty of this quilt surely is the huge number of fabrics in it. We will keep a note of what fabrics we have sent you and if you need more we can send you additional packs.

The book "The Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt" by Laurie Aaron Hird will also be part of the starter kit. In the book you'll find complete instructions for making a sampler quilt in any traditional size: lap, twin, queen or king. If you already own the book, please make a note in the Special Instructions on your order. The price without the book is $120.00 and we'll adjust that at the time of invoicing.
