Lush Batik Quilt
The Tonga Lush collection features fourteen fabrics in a palette of creams shading to soft blush, rose into burgundy, and vivid greens all nested in a navy-blue base.
I see so many quilts, beautiful quilts the girls have created over 36 years. My grandchildren all have quilts and they will receive more as we retire shop samples. I have given quilts to women’s refuge, school fund raisers and the Church, but this one is going on my bed! The colours the designer has chosen are perfect for my green walls and sanded floors with the small area rugs in burgundy. It is a super king and intermediate/advanced. There are the Dresden plates which are hand pieced but the rest of this stunning quilt is machine pieced.
This project runs over 11 months and starts in August/September 2019. Month One is NZ$150.00, plus postage followed by 10 months at NZ$41.40 per month, plus postage.
