Penny Garden by Bonnie Sullivan
Penny Garden is a lovely folk art wall hanging with a traditional penny/lambs tongue border. This project will be sent out over five months at NZ$75.00 per month, plus postage. You’ll receive everything to complete the quilt top, plus binding. The background will be flannel and you will receive wool for the appliqué and inner red border. Starts August/September 2018.
Optional thread sets: Bonnie has used an antique gold and black Valdani Pearl Cotton thread (size 12) for the appliqué, NZ$18.00 per set. If you prefer to have matching colours for your appliqué, we can recommend her All Through the Night Favourites Set of varigated Valdani Pearl Cottons (size 12) for NZ$129.00 (see image below quilt). Please make a note in the Special Instructions on your order if you wish to have either set included with your first block.
