Willowbrook Hexie Quilt

This quilt has been designed by Natalie Bird in Australia and was a "works in progress" at the last Australian Quilt Market and we fell in love with it. Natalie has designed her own fabric for this quilt and in each half metre, you get two different fabrics - or two different fat quarters, which is very clever. It is a great project for those who enjoy some hand embroidery, plus English Paper Piecing and then machine work for borders.

The embroidered designs are pre-printed on a panel which is wonderful! These pre-printed designs come on a t-dye or a cream background. Hazel is doing the embroidery for her quilt on cream but will use the t-dye for other projects as it really is a lovely antique colour and will look good with some darker fabrics. Please state your colour preference for the pre-printed embroidery panel in the Special Instructions on the Checkout page when registering!

You'll also receive the Willowbrook Paper Piecing Pack which includes 264 Leave-in 2-1/4" Hexagon Papers and the acrylic template. By the end of the project, you'll be able to complete the quilt top, plus the binding will also be included.

This project will go over six months at NZ$150.00 for Month One, plus postage followed by five months at NZ$73.40 per month, plus postage. Starts August/September 2019.
