Half-Scrap Quilts by Mickey Depre (Book) DISCONTINUED
There are several different piecing techniques in this book from foundation to traditional but what I like best are the photographs of the quilts made from hundreds of different fabrics. They are all kind of “anything goes.” They are a riot of colour where reds, blacks, purple, teals, batiks, woven cottons all mix together for extremely happy quilts. Attention is paid to colour value so that the patterns can emerge. So — grab those scraps! The local Guild is making quilts for the refugees arriving in New Zealand — these quilts would be fun to make and give for a situation like this. 95 Pages.
