Japanese Kimekomi by Barbara B. Suess & Kathleen M. Hewitt DISCONTINUED
What a fun thing to make! Japanese handballs. Fill a basket with them -- give them as gifts, hang them in windows but just enjoy making them with all those lovely fabrics in your stash. You just need styrofoam balls, some glue, fabrics and cords. You will be amazed at all the different designs you can achieve! During the 18th century in Japan, dolls were created using this tucking in technique and they were called Kamo dolls and of course when styrofoam appeared life became a whole lot easier!
