Wow! There are some stunning quilts in this book. Trace the design onto cream fabric, now stitch the lines you have traced, then get out the colouring pencils and begin to fill in with colours. There is very good instruction. Start with a small project to learn the technique. You can use your machine to create plenty of surface embellishment. I could get very excited about trying this and it could be a new direction for you to go in.
